Left 4 Dead Review (PT1)

Well, Best Multiplayer Game of the Year 2008 has finally reached my hands three weeks ago. The winner of over 25 awards from various companies is Left 4 Dead, by VALVE, powerd by SOURCE and Steam. As many of you guys know, VALVE major in FPS games. Games such as Counter Strike, Team Fortress, Day of Defeat….bla bla bla… and now, Left 4 Dead. Using the latest technology A.I Director in the game which monitor players stress levels and….oppss!! They will bring out the supprise for you!!

New technology dubbed “the AI Director” is used to generate a unique gameplay experience every time you play. The Director tailors the frequency and ferocity of the zombie attacks to your performance, adjusting pacing, special effects and audio on the fly.

We tested the game for three weeks, and well, meaning over hours of testing and playing. From 9am to 11pm!! Haha!! Before I continue, let me introduce the team of infected to you. The Witch, The Tank, The Boomer, The Horde, The Hunter, and The Smoker. And on the human side, the old soldier, Bill, the biker, Francis, the hot student, Zoey and the IT guy, Louis. Some people think that this is another run around and shoot zombies game, well, they are so wrong. Its not about killing all of them, its mainly about staying alive. Behind every corner, there may be a hunter trying to leap at you and dig your guts out, of they may be from the top, The Smoker will catch you with his 50 foot tounge and strangle you while atempting to pull you to him for a great clawing moment. When you meet the Boomer, just remember, one, he has the ability to draw a large Horde with his slimy fluid, and two, he explodes when shot at. Just remember to keep your distance. Crying? Oh yea…. well, let me introduce you to the witch. She does not like loud noise, flash lights or anyone shooting at her. If you do…. one claw will remove almost all of your life, and bare in mind… she is pretty quick. Now we have the running block of muscles, The Tank. He is fast, he sis strong, he can throw things. Not to mention, really heavy things, and worst of all…. he can take in a hell lot of damage…. Last but not lease, we have the Hordes. They are infected people, only easier to kill. Well some times you might think that day are stupid, lets just say that they are fast and will climb anywhere just to have you down. Determined eh!!
